Ha Tinh province’s Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism on November 26 received eight historical documents of the Nguyen dynasty as gifts from 75-year-old Tran Sy Manh in Tan Loc commune, Loc Ha district.
The documents were issued under the reign of King Tu Duc in the 13 th year of his reign (1860), the 14 th year (1861), the 15 th year (1862), the 17 th year (1864), the 21 st year (1868), the 27 th year (1874) and the 28 th year (1875).
All of them featured decisions on approving positions and appointing tasks to Tran Van Uc in Kim Chuy village (now Tan Loc commune, Loc Ha district).
The documents, which were made of thin, smooth and yellow paper, were assessed as one of the most valuable collections of Nguyen dynasty historical documents in Ha Tinh province./.
