The Quang Binh Study Encouragement Society and the organisation Rencontres du Vietnam (Meeting Vietnam) granted the scholarships to the targeted pupils and students at a ceremony held in Quang Binh on August 27.
Accordingly, each of the pupils received a scholarship worth 4 million VND and each student got 6 million VND.
Prof. Odon Vallet, a history lecturer at the Paris-based Sorbonne University, France, set up the Odon Vallet Foundation to grant scholarships to poor students who achieve outstanding results in study and scientific research in France and Vietnam./.
