Archaeologists have discovered 20 Champa-style ancient wells have been discovered in the central province of Ha Tinh.

All the wells are undamaged, and some of them have been improved by local people for use, according to the Vietnam Institute of Archaeology and the French School of Asian Studies (EFEO).

Archaeologists will conduct the second stage of the survey in the whole province, focusing on square-shaped wells. Based on results of the survey, measures to protect the wells with the Champa culture will be proposed./.
