The fifth China-ASEAN Youth Camp kicked off on April 22 in Guangxi province’s capital of Nanning, China.

Entitled “ASEAN youth learn about China”, the seven-day programme saw the participation of some 100 young people from 10 ASEAN countries, including government officers, business people, artists, students and a supervisor of the ASEAN’s secretariat.

During the programme, the participants will visit Nanning city and the two provinces of Guilin and Guiyang to explore China-ASEAN cooperation along with China ’s policies on ethnic groups, the country’s traditional medicine, and the activities of Chinese youth including study and work.

The first China-ASEAN Youth Camp was held in 2006./.
