Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam Kong Xuanyou hosted a banquet to mark the 64th anniversary of China’s National Day (October 1) in Hanoi on September 26.

Addressing the function, Minister of Construction Trinh Dinh Dung extended warm greetings to the Chinese Party, Government and people on the anniversary.

He noted that the bilateral strategic comprehensive cooperative partnership between Vietnam and China continues to see positive developments recently, adding that regular high-level visits and meetings have been maintained, contributing to strengthening mutual political trust, creating a driving force for both countries to promote cooperation for mutual benefits in all fields and step by step resolve satisfactorily differences between them.

Minister Dung stressed that the Vietnamese Party, Government and people wish to work together with the Party, Government and people of China in furthering their strategic comprehensive cooperative partnership for the benefits of both peoples and for peace, stability and develop in the region and globally.

For his part, the Chinese Ambassador said the China-Vietnam relationship has maintained the growing trend with the joint efforts of both countries. He expressed China ’s desire to deepen their traditional ties, expand cooperation for mutual benefits and develop their strategic comprehensive cooperative partnership.
