More than 500 organisations and businesses, including 62 units from Vietnam , are showcasing products at the 10th China-Vietnam border trade fair that opened in the Chinese province of Yunnan on Nov. 26.

On display at over 1,300 booths is a wide range of commodities such as garments, machines, equipment, electric household appliances, automobiles, motorbikes, IT devices, farm produce, seafood and aquatic products.

The annual fair is organised in rotation by Lao Cai city in the Vietnamese province of the same name and Heikou district of Yunnan province. An exhibition featuring the results of cooperation and friendship between the two sides is also held on this occasion.

Participating companies are expected to discuss and sign trade and tourism cooperation contracts between the two nations and between Lao Cai city and Heikou district.

Organisers hope that the fair would attract around 100,000 visitors and deals worth 140 million USD and 100 million yuan would be signed at the fair./.
