Secretary of the Party Central Committee and head of its Commission for Mass Mobilisation, Ha Thi Khiet received a Chinese delegation of ethnic youth on September 15 in Hanoi.

Khiet welcomed the delegation’s visit on the occasion of the 60 th anniversary of diplomatic ties between the two countries, considering it a step to further promote the cooperation between the two Committees for Ethnic Minorities, and a valuable contribution to developing the relationship between the two Parties and countries.

She highlighted that the traditional friendship founded by late Presidents Ho Chi Minh and Mao Zedong and fostered by generations of leaders of the two Parties and countries is an invaluable treasure to preserve, protect, develop and hand on to later generations.

She also spoke highly of the co-hosting of an exchange programme between ethnic minority youths of the two countries, contributing to consolidating and deepening the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership between Vietnam and China.

Head of the Chinese delegation, Wang Quanlei affirmed that leaders of the Chinese State and government along with its people always attach importance to developing the traditional friendship with Vietnam.

He also pledged to make every effort with the Vietnamese Party, State and people to increasingly develop the two nations’ comprehensive strategic partnership./.
