A 19-member Vietnamese circus troupe joined their Lao counterparts to entertain local audiences in the Lao capital city of Vientiane on March 20.
The performance was organised to celebrate the 55 th founding anniversary of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (Mar. 22), and the 1,000 th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi.
Vice State President of Laos Bounnhang Volachit, the Envoy at the Vietnamese Embassy in Laos , Luong Quoc Huy, and a number of other Lao Party and State officials enjoyed the show.
It is one in a series of cultural activities that will be held in 2010 to mark major occasions of both nations./.
