Circus show marks Lao party’s anniversary

A 19-member Vietnamese circus troupe joined their Lao counterparts to entertain local audiences in the Lao capital city of Vientiane on March 20.

Theperformance was organised to celebrate the 55 th founding anniversaryof the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party (Mar. 22), and the 1,000 thanniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi.

Vice State President of Laos Bounnhang Volachit, the Envoy at theVietnamese Embassy in Laos , Luong Quoc Huy, and a number of other LaoParty and State officials enjoyed the show.

It is one in a series of cultural activities that will be held in 2010 to mark major occasions of both nations./.
