A club in Berlin, Germany, has been set up by overseas Vietnamese people to preserve Vietnam’s unique culture.

It also aims to support the Vietnamese community living in the Western Europe country.

Established on September 9, 2008 with only nine members, the club has now grown to a membership of 40.

The club is not just a place for members to help each other make a new life in Germany, but also to promote Vietnamese culture to foreign friends, said the club’s Head Dao Yna, in a ceremony to mark the club’s first birthday.

The club’s activities receive support from the Vietnamese Embassy in Germany and from the local authorities./.
