Collapsed tunnel incident: trapped workers got out safe

Twelve workers were successfully brought out of the collapsed tunnel at the construction site of the Da Dang-Da Chomo hydropower plant by 4:30 pm on December 19.
Twelve workers were successfully brought out of the collapsed tunnel atthe construction site of the Da Dang-Da Chomo hydropower plant by 4:30pm on December 19.

They had been trapped in thetunnel in Pang Tieng village, Lat commune, Lac Duong district, CentralHighlands Lam Dong province since December 16.

According to health officials at the site, the workers, including awoman, are in stable health condition, and are receiving first-aidservices.

Thanks to the tireless efforts of rescue workers, the workers got out of the collapsed tunnel earlier than scheduled.-VNA
