Colombian national arrested for illegal drug transportation
The Police Department for Investigation of Drug-related Crime under the Ho Chi Minh City Police is detaining a Colombian woman who illegally transported 1.6kg of cocaine to Vietnam.
Illustrative image (Source: internet)Soracipa Monroy Claudia Stephanny, born in 1995, was arrested on December 25 at Tan Son Nhat airport when she was processing customs procedure after flying to Ho Chi Minh City from Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.
The customs force of Tan Son Nhat airport then handed over the case to the city police.
Initially, Stephanny confessed that she was hired to transport the drug amount from Bogota in Colombia to Ho Chi Minh City.
The case is under investigation./.
