of Vietnam Nguyen Phu Trong on April 24 extended condolences to Grand Duke Henri
of Luxembourg on the passing of his father, Grand Duke Jean.
The same day, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc offered condolences to his Luxembourg counterpart Xavier Bettel.
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Pham Binh Minh also sent a condolence message to Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Jean Asselborn.
Grand Duke Jean passed away on April 23 at the age of 98. He reigned as Grand Duke of Luxembourg from 1964 until his abdication in 2000.-VNA
