Experts and representatives from families gathered on August 29 in Ho Chi Minh City to discuss how to boost connection among families in educating descendants.

The first ever event, jointly organised by the Family History Research Institute in Ho Chi Minh City and the Vietnam Book of Records (VietKings), aims to preserve the traditional values of families in the country.

Participants stressed the need for preserving the families, which have existed for many years, as well as promoting their roles in the current social development.

Some suggested how to raise the awareness of their families’ values and roles among young generations, thus fostering solidarity among families.

Family representatives shared their experience in increasing the role families play in educating their children and their engagement in social activities.-VNA
