Conference honours people rendering services to nation

Ngan made the statement at a conference to honour people who made great contributions to the country nationwide held in central Quang Nam province on July 18.
She stressed that Vietnamese people are always proud of those who sacrificed for the national liberation as well as others who have been contributing to national development.
“In any circumstance, the sacrifices in struggles to defend the country are kept in our mind,” Ngan added.
On this occasion, the Ministry of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs presented certificates of merit to 159 individuals who have made outstanding contributions to national construction and defence.-VNA
