The RoK Parliament oon October 1 approved Kim Hwang-sik as new prime minister by a 169-71 vote.
Kim Hwang-sik, 62, was a former Supreme Court justice and then became head of the Board of Audit and Inspection in 2008.
Kim’s nomination was made by President Lee Myung-bak on September 16.
