The International Labour Organisation (ILO) in Vietnam and the northern province of Ninh Binh’s Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs Department on August 21 launched a contest on business ideas.

The contest aims to raise public awareness of the benefits of becoming educated in entrepreneurship, provide skills for those who have started their studies and encourage people to establish enterprises, to create more jobs and collect business ideas from trainees at vocational centres.

Final round of the contest will take place on October 16.

Ninh Binh province is one of five localities in the country that have piloted the “Know About Business” (KAB) entrepreneurship education programme co-organised by the ILO in Vietnam, the European Union and the Vietnamese Ministry of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs./.
