Contest on Vietnam-China ties to open

A contest about friendship between Vietnam and China will be launched in both countries next month, said the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations on August 26.
A contest about friendship between Vietnam and China will be launched inboth countries next month, said the Vietnam Union of FriendshipOrganisations on August 26.

The contest, held by the Vietnam-China Friendship Association incollaboration with its Chinese counterpart, is to mark the 60 thanniversary of Vietnam-China’ diplomatic ties and the 2010 Vietnam-ChinaFriendship Year.

Contestants should visit thewebsite http://www.vietpeace.gov.vn from September 2 to October 1 toanswer 60 questions on the countries, people, political, economic,cultural activities and friendly relations between China and Vietnam.

The competition aims to promote better understandingbetween the two countries’ people. Winners will have a chance to visitChina and Vietnam./.

Vietnam’s hiring outlook to see strong growth in Q4

Dr. Gildas Tréguier, Secretary-General of the France-Vietnam Health Federation (FSFV), said the visit comes as Vietnam is opening further to the world and entering a new stage of development, creating greater demand for experience sharing and closer cooperation with international partners, including France. Phu Tho: 200kg bomb safely relocated, detonated

According to a report by the Phu Tho Military Command, local residents spotted the bomb on August 31 in the Da River after the river water receded, exposing it beneath mud and soil on the riverbed. The bomb remained intact, including its fuse, and was located about 300m from a residential area.

Under a draft decree replacing Decree 63, authorities will have to proactively pull information from databases and records for informational or technical procedures. Applicants would no longer be required to resubmit documents, and certification or information requests could not be turned into discretionary licensing through an “ask – give” mechanism.
