The Central Anti-smuggling Steering Committee coded 127 has ordered its locality level units to tighten control of beer, wine and tobacco transports, trade and production before and after the upcoming Tet (Lunar New Year) holiday.

During the two-month inspection period which starts on December 1, inspectors will check business licences of enterprises and trading households to prevent the smuggling of fake or substandard goods.

Agents licensed to sell beer, wine and tobacco will also undergo inspections of their stamp regulation procedures for the trade of imported wine and tobacco./.
