Binh Duong (VNA) – A plant processing daily waste intobio-fertiliser, said to be the biggest of its kind in Vietnam and evenSoutheast Asia at present, was put into operation in the southern province ofBinh Duong on May 14.

The plant, with acapacity of 840 tonnes per day, was the third of the kind operated by the BinhDuong Supply Sewerage Environment Company (Biwase). The three plants have acombined capacity of 1,680 tonnes per day.

Biwase has become thebiggest manufacturer of bio-fertiliser in Vietnam. Its fertilizer branded ConVoi Binh Duong has been used widely by rice and fruit farmers in the MekongDelta, the southeastern and south-central regions./.
