Talks between Le Hoai Trung, member of the CPV Central Committee and Chairman of its Commission for External Relations, and PCF National Secretary Fabien Roussel (Photo: VNA) During his stay, Trung held talks with PCF NationalSecretary Fabien Roussel to exchange information on the situation of eachcountry and Party, and measures to strengthen bilateral ties, and exchangedviews on several international issues of mutual concern.
Trung presented a congratulatory message from theCPV Central Committee to the 39th PCF Congress, and expressed hisbelief that it will set out the right directions and policies to promote theachieved positive results, overcome the current difficulties, strengthen theforce and increase the PCF's influence on the political arena of Franceand Europe, thus contributing to peace, national independence, democracy andsocial progress, for socialist ideals in France, Europe and around the world.
He affirmed Vietnam’s consistent foreign policy ofindependence, self-reliance, peace, cooperation and development, and multilateralisationand diversification of external relations, and active internationalintegration; as well as its policy of maintaining and consolidating relationswith communist parties, including the PCF.
Roussel thanked the CPV for sending the delegation to attend the congress, considering it a manifestation of solidarity, attachment, friendship and faithfulness in the relations between the two Parties.
He highly appreciated and congratulated Vietnam on its great achievements over the past time under the leadership of the CPV.
