He described the relationship as solid evidence of special and exemplary fraternity between the two countries.
In return, the Vietnamese hosts reaffirmed solidarity and unswerving support for the Cuban people. They also pledged to strengthen and develop the fraternal relations and comprehensive cooperation with Cuba , especially between the two foreign ministries.
Host and guest expressed satisfaction at the fine development of bilateral relations, especially ties between the two foreign ministries, which they said have contributed to national development in individual countries.
They also reached an overwhelming consensus on the need to strengthen coordination and increase mutual support within the framework of international organisations and multilateral forums such as the UN, the Non-Alliance Movement (NAM) and the Forum of East Asian-Latin American Cooperation (FEALAC).
These activities are necessary to protect legitimate rights and contribute to increasing the two countries’ positions in regional and international arenas./.
