The 15th Sai Gon Cyclo Challenge will be held on March 22 at Celadon City in Ho Chi Minh City’s Tan Phu District to raise funds to help disadvantaged children get a fair start in life.

The organiser - Sai Gon Childrens Charity (SCC) - said since its inception in 2001, the Cyclo Challenge has raised nearly 700,000 USD, with over 21,000 participants from different companies taking part.

Tim Mullett, chairman of the organising committee and director of SCC, said: "It is very exciting to be celebrating the 15th anniversary of the community event, which is now older than many of the kids who we support."

Tickets are free and give access to free food and drinks as well as a lucky draw. There will be live music performances, plus lots of activities for children. A shop at the Flea Market features hand-made products from local producers.

Tickets for the event are available from March 12 to 21, and can be collected from the Saigon Childrens Charity office or at the event on the day.-VNA
