Bishop Pierre Nguyen Van Nhon, the Bishop of Da Lat and President of the Episcopal Council of the Catholic Church of Vietnam, hosted a service for the ground-breaking ceremony.
Lam Dong provincial authorities were also present at the service.
The Da Lat pastoral centre will cover a land area of 11 ha on a hill on Van Kiep road, Da Lat city.
Once completed, it will help followers in the Da Lat diocese gain a thorough understanding of Catholicism and the religion’s teaching./.
