Almost 20,000 Catholic followers gathered in Da Lat city of the Central Highlands province of Lam Dong on Nov. 27 for the inauguration of the pastoral centre and the founding anniversary of the Da Lat Diocese.

Addressing the event, President of the Episcopal Council of the Catholic Church of Vietnam Pierre Nguyen Van Nhon and other bishops of the Da Lat Diocese thanked the provincial authorities for facilitating the diocese in building the pastoral centre.

Covering more than 6ha in precinct 8 of Da Lat City, the pastoral centre, a big one in the south, comprises a chapel, a number of lecture halls and houses that can accommodate around 300 people./.
