Da Nang announces souvenirs, gifts for APEC 2017
The Department of Industry and Trade of central Da Nang city will present awards for 20 products in a competition on souvenirs and gifts for the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Forum 2017 .
At the launch event (Source: VNA) Since its launch five months ago, the organising board has received 171 entries from 46 individuals and 31 units from eight cities and provinces nationwide, including 28 concepts and 143 end-products.
Among the 20 winning products, first prize went to a set of ceramic vases by Bo Trai ceramic manufacturing and trade company based in Bat Trang ceramic village, the outlying district of Gia Lam.
The others include two second prizes, five third prizes and 12 consolation prizes.
Vietnam this year’s host of the APEC Forum, during which, Da Nang city will host APEC High-Level Week 2017, affording the city a chance to popularise its image abroad.
Da Nang is working to upgrade infrastructure, transport, lodging facilities and services for the event.-VNA
