Da Nang int’l fireworks festival 2024 to take place in early June

The 12th Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF 2024) will take place in the central city of Da Nang in early June with a series of events and five competition nights.

Da Nang (VNA) - The 12th Da Nang International Fireworks Festival (DIFF 2024) will take place in the central city of DaNang in early June with a series of events and five competitionnights.

According toChairman of Sun Group in the central region Nguyen Van Binh, the firm will continueto accompany the municipal administration in organising the event.

The opening ceremony of DIFF 2024 is scheduled to be held onJune 8 evening, and the final competition on July 13evening.

This year's festival will see the presence of seven teams from France, Italy, the US, Germany, Poland, China, andFinland, and host Vietnam.

DIFF 2023 created a boost beyond expectation for Da Nang’s tourism sector.

Accommodation establishments in the central city served 3.5 millionvisitors in the first six months of 2023, surging by 116.6% year-on-year. The foreignarrivals to Da Nang in the period hit 930,000, up 11.3% compared to the same periodof 2022./.
