The central city of Da Nang has attracted over 346.04 million USD in
foreign direct investment (FDI) in the first nine months of the year.

Of the total, more than 44.04 million USD came from 30 newly licensed projects, while the rest came from 15 existing ones.
The new projects mainly focus on services, tourism and industrial manufacturing utilising high technologies.
As of mid October, Da Nang had 268 FDI projects, capitalising at 3.2 billion USD. Of this figure, 1.65 billion USD has been realised, accounting for 51.6 percent of the total registered capital.-VNA
