Da Nang port unloads seven-millionth tonne of goods
Da Nang port in central Da Nang city on December 15 handled the seven-millionth tonne of goods and the 300,000th container from cargo ship Willi which operates under the flag of Marshall Islands.

Da Nang city on December 15 handled the seven-millionth tonne of goods and the
300,000th container from cargo ship Willi which operates under the flag of
Marshall Islands.
The
cargo from vessel Willi allowed Da Nang port to complete its yearly plan.
It is expected to unload 7.25 million tonnes of goods by the yearend, including
320,000 containers, up 13 percent in terms of goods and 24 percent in terms of
containers, from 2015.
The
port is planning the second phase of its Tien Sa Port with a total investment
of 1 trillion VND (45 million USD) and is scheduled to complete it in early
2018. Upon completion, the port’s capacity will reach 10 million tonnes a
