Leaders from the Central Highlands province of Dak Nong on December 13 held a meeting with more than 60 Catholic and Protestant dignitaries on the occasion of the upcoming Christmas festival.
They praised the dignitaries’ efforts to encourage the Catholic community to implement patriotic emulation movements and raise the spirit of solidarity and mutual assistance in economic development and poverty reduction for the common development of the province.
They wished the Catholic and Protestant dignitaries and followers a merry Christmas and said they hoped the dignitaries, with their prestige and responsibility, will make more effort to encourage Catholic followers to abide by the policies of the Party and the law of the State.
Dignitaries expressed their deep gratitude to the local Party Committee and authorities for programmes to help improve the material and spiritual life of their community, as well as creating favourable conditions for them to freely practice their religious activities.-VNA
