Danish-funded water factory inaugurated in southern province

According to Nguyen Van Thien, Director of the Binh Duong Environment, Water Drainage and Supply Company, located in An Phu commune, Thuan An district, the plant has a total daily capacity of 30,000 cu.m and is divided into two phases, each with 15,000 cu.m.
The first phase was sponsored by the Danish Government through a 3.6 million USD credit provided by the Danish International Development Assistance (DANIDA).
Once operational, it is expected to provide clean water for around 8,000 households comprising 45,000 people in the locality.
The Danish Crown Prince pressed the button to kick off the new production line and was given a tour of the plant./.
