Defence minister meets Chinese army official
Defence Minister General Phung Quang Thanh has underscored defence cooperation as a pillar in the Vietnam – China comprehensive strategic partnership.

He called on the two defence ministries to further strengthen solidarity and mutual understanding in the coming time.
The Party, State and people of Vietnam continually treasure the friendship, comprehensive and equal cooperation for mutual benefit with China, Thanh stated.
Sun Jianguo, for his part, expressed wish to foster mutually-beneficial ties with the Vietnamese army for the sake of the two peoples.-VNA
