Defence Minister receives Cambodia diplomat
Defence Minister, Gen. Ngo Xuan Lich has praised Cambodian outgoing Ambassador to Vietnam Prak Nguon Hong for his contributions to the promotion of the Vietnam-Cambodia relations.

In his meeting with the Cambodian diplomat in Hanoi on August 26, the Vietnamese minister highlighted the fruitful development of the political ties and cooperation in trade, education, culture, defence and security between the two countries over the last three years, stressing the ambassador greatly contributed to these.
Minister Lich said he believes that the diplomat will continue to make every effort to promote the traditional friendship and comprehensive cooperation between the two nations.
According to Ambassador Prak Nguon Hong, the two sides organized successfully the Vietnam-Cambodia, Cambodia – Vietnam friendship year in 2017 and various events to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Vietnam-Cambodia diplomatic ties.
These show that the bilateral relation has been increasingly expanded, especially in defence and security, he said.
The diplomat pledged that he will do his best to further strengthen the solidarity, friendship and cooperation in all fields between Vietnam and Cambodia.-VNA
