Lieutenant-General Sanyahak Phomvihane, who is on a working visit to
Vietnam .

Gen. Phung Quang Thanh welcomed the Lao Lieutenant-General’s visit to Vietnam to attend the 60th anniversary of the day volunteer Vietnamese troops and experts were first sent to the aid of their neighbour country.
He informed the Lao delegation of the Vietnamese Party and State’s primary activities to prepare for the celebration which aims to honour Vietnamese war invalids, martyrs and military experts who have contributed extensively to the two countries’ independence and liberation.
For his part, Sanyahak Phomvihane highlighted that the Lao party and state will always remember the great contributions made by the Vietnamese Party, the State and the People’s Army during Laos past struggles as well as its current process of national construction.
He expressed his wish that the friendship and solidarity between Vietnam and Laos would last forever./.
