Denmark supports fine arts education in VN
Vietnam’s Ministry of Education and Training and Embassy of Denmark on
Dec. 14 signed a second-stage (2011-2015) agreement on supporting fine
arts education at Vietnam’s primary schools worth 3.9 million Kroner (or
14 billion VND) in Hanoi.

Addressing the ceremony, Minister of Education and Training Pham Vu Luan affirmed that the project contributed to promoting comprehensive education for Vietnamese school children and encouraged new teaching methods in the fine arts subject at primary school level.
Following the success of the first-stage project in the 2006-2010 period, the second stage aimed to popularise new teaching methods for the fine arts subject at primary schools nationwide as well as provide training for teachers.
Since 2006, the project had helped Thai Nguyen Pedagogical College and the National University of Art Education improve teaching capacity./.
