Nghien received Thailand ’s Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn, who is on a working
visit to Vietnam.
Nghien welcomed Princess Maha and her delegation’s visit and stated that it would help to strengthen the friendly relationship and mutual understanding between the armed forces and peoples of both countries. He added that he hoped that the visit would benefit both nations.
For her part, Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn expressed her sincere thanks to her host and her pleasure at having the opportunity to understand more about Vietnam, its people, their culture and the country’s armed forces./.
