met visiting Major General Richard Rhys Jones, New Zealand ’s Chief of the Army
in Hanoi on March 3.

in Hanoi on March 3.
Jones briefed Nghien, who is also Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army (VPA), on the results of his talks with Lieutenant General Pham Hong Loi, Deputy Chief of the VPA’s General Staff, on regional security, anti-terrorism, medical troop training, teaching English to soldiers and directions for cooperation in the coming time.
During the trip, Jones and his delegation will visit the Command of Military Zone 7, the Institute of Logistics , the Division of Vanguards, the Museum of Military History and several beauty spots in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City./.
