Deputy Prime Minister Vu Van Ninh received Sumitomo Life Insurance Company President and CEO, Sato Yoshio, on Dec. 20.
At the reception, Ninh praised the Japanese company’s decision to invest in Vietnam’s insurance market through acquiring shares in Bao Viet Life Insurance Corporation.
He said the cooperation between the two insurance companies promises a lot of opportunities, in the context of the underdeveloped insurance market in Vietnam.
Sato said Sumitomo is striving to expand its operations abroad and the company has high expectations for Vietnam , which has been enjoying rapid development over the past time.-VNA
