and Technology Boviengkham Vongdara in Hanoi on October 14.
At the reception, Hai spoke highly of the role of science and technology in each country’s development strategy as well as the strong development trend of world science and technology.
The Deputy PM affirmed that the Vietnamese Government pledges support for cooperative plans between the two countries’ Ministries of Science and Technology.
For his part, Minister Boviengkham Vongdara informed the host of the results of the 2 nd session of the Vietnam-Laos Joint Committee for Scientific and Technological Cooperation held in Hanoi recently.
He said that the two countries have agreed to boost cooperation in training human resources, provision of scientific and technological information, construction of infrastructure, exchange of experts on intellectual property, technological transfer and poverty reduction./.
