At the reception, Deputy Prime Minister Khiem said he was pleased to witness the rising development of cooperative relations between Vietnam and the DPRK in recent times.

He expressed his hope that Ambassador Kim Chang-il during his working term in Vietnam will actively contribute to strengthening friendship relations between the two nations.

Khiem also conveyed his wishes to the DPRK government and people to achieve more in the national building and development process.

For his part, Kim Chang-il praised the great achievements that Vietnamese people have made in the national building and protection process under the leadership of the Vietnamese Communist Party.

He highly valued the key role of Vietnam in the international arena, affirming that he will exert himself to further promote friendship relations and traditional cooperation between the two nations./.
