Dinh Ngoc He prosecuted for another charge
Police said on January 31 they are investigating wrongdoings related to Dinh Ngoc He, alias Ut troc, and Thai Son Development and Investment JSC – Ministry of Defence that occurred in Hanoi.

The Ministry of Public Security’s Investigation Police Agency on January 29 decided to launch criminal proceedings against He, former chairman and former general director of Thai Son Development and Investment JSC, on the charge of “abusing position and power to influence others for personal gain”, stipulated in Article 358 of the Criminal Code 2015.
In July last year, Dinh Ngoc He was sentenced to 10 years in prison by the Central Military Court for “abusing position and power while performing official duties”, and another two years for “using falsified documents of agencies and organisations”. The Central Military Court upheld the verdict at a court of appeals in November. -VNA
