Dong Nai’s businesses seek cooperation with Benin

Representatives of 20 businesses in the southern province of Dong Nai on Sept. 29 had a meeting with a delegation from Benin’s Ministry of Industry and Trade to seek investment opportunities in the Western African country.

The businesses in Dong Nai andBenin ’s Ministry of Industry and Trade are both interested incooperation possibilities in fields of footwear, medicine, agriculturalmachine, food processing, wooden furniture, textile and garment andaquatic products.

According to Sabi Boum Djoule,legal adviser of the Benin ’s Ministry of Industry, Benin is thegateway to markets in the Western African countries.

The Beninese government will create favourable conditions forVietnam ’s businesses to invest and expand market in the country, hesaid.

Through the meeting, the two countries’participants got an overview of the difficulties and advantages wheninvesting in Benin and Vietnam .

The same day,the Benin delegation visited several models of production andbusiness in some enterprises in Dong Nai province.

Thirty Vietnamese businesses are scheduled to go to Benin to study investment opportunities in the country in November./.

Quang Tri province mobilises resources for fisheries infrastructure

The provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to prepare an investment proposal for upgrading and expanding the Con Co storm shelter in Con Co special zone.
