Main roads in Ho Chi Minh City were flooded due to a heavy rain that lasted several hours on July 3.
Traffic chaos then occurred as hundreds of motorbikes could not move in deep water. Partial congestions also happened in several areas due to deep flood and slippery roads.
Wood planks and sand bags were used by people having houses with street doors to prevent the water from entering.
Rainfall was measured at 105mm, according to Head of the Flood Prevention Management Division Do Tan Long/.
