Downtown Hanoi to feature Italian fashion exhibition

A unique fashion exhibit featuring the 22 latest designs of noted Italian designer Raffaella Curiel will go on display in Hanoi from November 24 to December 7.
A unique fashion exhibitfeaturing the 22 latest designs of noted Italian designer RaffaellaCuriel will go on display in Hanoi from November 24 to December 7.

The exhibition will highlight the eclectic socialismof Curiel's artistic creative resources and the creation of a richcollection using an unforgettable style.

Fashion wasin the blood of Curiel from the time she was born near Trieste in1943. Her mother Gigliola owned an atelier in her native city that wasnotorious among aristocrats of her time.

She was thefirst to take the Italian ready-to-wear fashion to the United Stateswith "Curiellino", a casual dress that women could wear all day long.

The Italian Embassy in Vietnam is organising theexhibit, which will coincide with the Vietnam visit of ItalianDeputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and International Co-operationBenedetto Della Vedova.

The display will run at Casa Italy, 18 Le Phung Hieu street.-VNA

National Radio Festival opens in Quang Ninh

Vietnamese puppetry seeks renewal amid preservation challenges

People’s Artist Nguyen Hoang Tuan, Chairman of the Hanoi Theatre Association, noted that while northern Vietnam had 27 puppetry guilds in 1986, only 14 remain today. Many traditional plays and original scripts have been lost, hurting restoration and preservation efforts.

Project on digital transformation in cultural sector approved

By 2030, the project targets the establishment of shared digital platforms across 100% of cultural sectors. All digitised cultural heritage will be standardised under the national data framework and shared in accordance with regulations, while 80% of public digital heritage assets are expected to receive digital identifiers to clarify ownership and management, encouraging organisations and individuals to do the same and support market development.
