The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK)’s Embassy in Vietnam hosted a reception in Hanoi on October 7 to mark the 70th founding anniversary of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK).

At the event, DPRK Ambassador Kim Myong Gil reviewed outstanding achievements that the DPRK people have made in the past seven decades in national construction and defence.

The diplomat expressed his belief in the ever growing traditional ties between the two nations’ parties and peoples, which will benefit both sides.

Congratulating the DPRK’s people on their progress obtained under the leadership of the WPK, Tran Dac Loi, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for External Relations, stated that Vietnam will continue fostering the bilateral relations for the interests and prosperity of both nations as well as for regional and international peace, stability, cooperation and development.-VNA
