Draft revised laws on housing, real estate business scrutinised

National Assembly (NA) deputies voiced their opinions about the draft revised laws on housing and on real estate business during their plenary sitting at the legislature’s ongoing eighth session on October 24.

In the morning, they discussed contentious points in the draft amended Law on Housing, with a focus on housing business and transaction, social housing and overall regulations on housing development.

The housing ownership for foreign organisations and individuals was also an issue of interest.

In the afternoon, deputies focused their discussions on the draft law on real estate business. Most of the opinions dealt with conditions for businesses and individuals to engage in real estate trading, types of real estate products, as well as the business scope in the field for domestic organisations and individuals, overseas Vietnamese, and foreign-invested enterprises.

The NA will convene again on October 25./.
