Hanoi (VNA) – Prime MinisterNguyen Xuan Phuc has just signed a Government’s resolution approving the draftof the third Protocol amending the ASEAN Comprehensive Investment Agreement(ACIA).

The Vietnamese Government on July 31 approvedthe draft of the second Protocol amending the ACIA.

The ACIA was reached on February 2009 and tookeffect on March 29, 2012, aiming to promote investment liberalisation withinASEAN and lay the foundation for the establishment of the ASEAN EconomicCommunity (AEC) in 2015.-VNA
