A Chinese fishing vessel was successfully towed to Nha Trang port in the central province of Khanh Hoa on December 24.
The drifting vessel Jihang, with six Chinese nationals on board, was said to suffer engine failures.
It was approached by the Vietnam Coast Guard High Command’s ship on the afternoon of December 23 while at 28 nautical miles from Khanh Hoa province’s Van Phong bay.
The crew was then provided with medical assistance, food and necessities.-VNA
