Vietnamese rider Nguyen Thuy Dung won the fourth and final stage of the Perlis Open women’s cycling tour which ended in Malaysia on June 1.

Dung, riding for Vietnam’s Binh Duong A , completed the 91.3 km stage in two hours 56 minutes and 41 seconds.

Kedah’s Ruszatulzanariah Md Yusoff clocked the same time but Dung was declared the winner in a photo finish. Another Kedah rider, Nur Hidayah Yusai, was third.

Kedah’s Masziyaton Mohd Radzi took the overall yellow jersey in nine hours and 17 seconds. Vietnam’s Duong Thi Lan, who represented the Agifish team, was four seconds slower. Kazakhstan ’s Ulbrikht Valentina was a further four seconds back in third.

Vietnam’s Binh Duong A won the team classification from Kedah and Agifish./.
