A business delegation from seven Netherlands companies, which specialise in waste water treatment, will visit Vietnam from May 4-9 to share experiences and seek partners.

The companies joining this delegation - Royal Haskoning, UCY, Tebodin, Paques, Redox, Witteveen en Bos and Grontmij- Carl Bro - are Europe’s leading experts in waste water treatment with close ties to high performing universities in the Netherlands.

Monique Bennema, head of the economic and trade division at the Dutch Embassy in Vietnam, told the Vietnam News Agency that the mission chose Vietnam as its destination because it is on the Dutch Government’s list of prioritised nations for boosting bilateral economic and trade relations.

The Dutch Government will encourage its companies to establish business cooperation with local enterprises in the listed countries, Bennema said.

According to the embassy, the delegation is scheduled to visit industrial zones in Hanoi and Vinh Phuc province in the north, and Ho Chi Minh City and Binh Duong province in the south.

The Dutch companies will introduce to local partners state-of-the-art water treatment technologies using reactors, membranes, UV light and ozone./.
