Young patients at the Vietnam National Hospital of Pediatrics are in for an early treat prior to the International Children Day. This has brought a smile on their faces, helping them to gain strength on their journey to fight for their lives.
The event has drawn hundreds of young patients, many of them still have their IV drips intact, to come and have a good time.
It is a sight of relief to see these young children and their parents taking a break from all the medical treatments and enjoy a fun night out. The program is aimed to bring the less fortunate children at Vietnam National Hospital of Pediatrics the joy and excitement of the International Children Day with toys and games.
Every year, around 1 million children are hospitalized due to mortal diseases or life-threatening conditions. However, this annual event has cleared up the weariness atmosphere and given them strength to overcome future difficulties.
Thanks to the generous donations from philanthropists, Vietnam National Hospital of Pediatrics is able to present patients with gifts and other necessities to celebrate the International Children Day.- VNA
